BRC is pleased to announce that Ben Hunter has completed the credential requirements to be a CITP. A CITP is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) that is credentialed by the AICPA.
CITPs are recognized for their unique ability to provide business insight by leveraging knowledge of information relationships and supporting technologies.
CITPs perform various functions, including:
- Evaluating the impact of technology risks and the related controls on financial statement audits.
- Assessing technology risk and information management, support system implementations, and evaluate security and privacy programs.
- Developing and maintaining information governance policies and programs, perform data analytics, provide insight for business decisions, and supports financial reporting system implementation.
