Holly Mitchell

Profile 

Holly Mitchell is an Assurance Principal with BRC with an in-depth knowledge of various for-profit industries, focused on family owned or private equity owned businesses with annual revenues ranging from $5 million to $500 million. With 18 years of public accounting experience in a national CPA firm, she brings BRC a wealth of experience in assurance services and technical accounting consulting. Holly’s expertise includes managing audits of privately owned companies within a variety of industries, primarily in business services (consulting, engineering, & labor), SaaS, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and technology.  

In addition, Holly has significant experience in performing audits of Employee Benefit Plans and served as the Raleigh practice leader for over 10 years at her previous national CPA Firm. She has expertise with all types of plans including defined contribution (401k), defined benefit, and ESOP plans.

Outside the Office 

• When not working, Holly spends the majority of her time chauffeuring her two children to soccer practice for their competitive NCFC travel teams. Holly’s favorite thing to do on the weekends is cheer on her kids in their soccer, flag football, and basketball games.   
• In addition, she enjoys traveling anywhere tropical and looks forward to her annual trip with the family. Her favorite destinations include Maui, St. Lucia, Cobo, and Napa.  
• Holly also enjoys adult time at a nice restaurant, comedy show, UNC game, concert, wine tasting or Broadway show.
