Mike Pitney

Profile

Mike is a partner at BRC and serves as the Firm’s Outsourced Accounting & Advisory Services Leader and is based in the Raleigh office of BRC. He specializes in managing client relationships, providing strategic financial advice, leading and developing a team of professionals, and driving business growth. He ensures that accounting practices comply with regulations, oversee financial management, and implement technological solutions to improve efficiency. Additionally, he is tasked with maintaining quality control and managing risks associated with accounting and advisory services.

Outside the Office

• Mike and his wife, Kathy, moved from Greensboro to Raleigh in 2010, where they raised their daughter, Alix, and son, Fred. As their children matured, they became actively involved in Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts programs. Through their volunteer time, they have seen the program developing young people with experience in character building, leadership skills, outdoor activities, community service and personal growth all while in a fun environment. Mike freely admits that he missed the business opportunity in his two greatest hobbies. He has been playing fantasy football before there was an era of computer automation, and he honed his microbrewery skills ahead of the microbrewing trend’s popularity surge.
