BRC, a leading CPA and Advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Rick Paden has joined the firm as a Tax Partner in our Raleigh, North Carolina office. With more than 25 years of experience, Rick will be instrumental in expanding the Firm’s tax services in the Raleigh marketplace.
Rick brings an in-depth knowledge of various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, construction, food and beverage, and technology/life sciences. He has spent his career in public accounting serving both foreign and domestic closely held and public companies through tax compliance and consulting services. Rick adds a broad range of expertise to BRC’s tax team, including ASC 740 tax provision services and FIN 48 documentation and analysis, research and development tax credits and expenses, tax accounting methods, business entity structuring and planning, tax controversy support—including audit defense and state voluntary disclosures—as well as advising on mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and restructuring.
